Fixed lessons repeat every week. Horses and arenas can’t be double-booked. Trail rides and competitions with the places available.

Students who approve on their own
Every student receives lessons, competitions and fees in their app: they approve, accept the costs, choose the horse. You mark “done”.
3 · Get paid
Finances without spreadsheets
Income, expenses and the month’s margin. For each student: what they owe, what they’ve paid and what you’ve invoiced.

Those who leave disappear from lists and fees, but lessons and payments stay in the finances.

What sets us apart
Management software for equestrian centres has been around for years: records, invoices, a booking portal. My Horse Diary starts from the other side: from the horse and the person who rides it.
What we don’t do (yet): you issue invoices with your own system; we keep track of what you’ve invoiced to whom.

What is My Horse Diary?
A horse app and a management tool for equestrian centres, designed in Italy. For the rider it’s a digital health record with vaccine, deworming, farrier and dentist due dates, the lesson and competition calendar, medals, expenses with the monthly average, the photo and a PDF record: free. For the school or centre it’s the management tool: students, instructors, a lesson calendar approved by students from their phone, a yard with stables and paddocks, trail rides, competitions, payments and invoices. It runs in the browser, nothing to install.
Can instructors use the app?
Yes. The school enters the instructor’s email in their profile; they sign in with their free account and find the “Instructor” tab: their lessons (or all the school’s), the “Done”, “Not done” and “Note” buttons, students with phone numbers. They don’t see fees or finances. An instructor working for two schools sees both.
Where do I start?
From the quick guide: in ten minutes the school is up and running — profile, instructors, yard, students with their email, first lessons in the calendar. Then it runs on its own.
Do students need to install anything?
No. The app opens in the phone’s browser and can be added to the Home screen like a real app. Every student signs in with their email.
How do they approve lessons?
When you schedule a lesson, the student finds it in their app with “Approve” and “Can’t make it”. You see the status change in the calendar; once it’s past, you mark it done.
What about students with a horse at livery?
They have the “Monthly plan” with lessons included, and the stable or paddock with boarding: the fees are counted automatically every month, in your finances and in their expenses. For a half lease on a school horse: in the student choose “Half lease”, the horse and the monthly fee; in the calendar the horse is filled in automatically and the fee is counted every month.
Can I use the school horses without overlaps?
Yes: if a horse is already busy at that time, the lesson won’t save. In the calendar you see, day by day, which horses and arenas are free or busy.
Does it do invoices too?
It keeps track of what you’ve received and invoiced for each student, with number and date. You issue the invoice with your usual system.
What happens if a student changes school?
From their diary they tap “Change school”: lessons done, competitions and medals stay in their diary, the school keeps its own finances and no longer sees their horse. The new school adds them with the same email and picks up from there. No data to export or request.
Is there a record to print?
Yes: in Health, “PDF record” generates the horse’s full record — details, due dates, vaccines, deworming, farrier, dentist, supplements, competitions and awards — to save as PDF or print for the vet. It works for school horses and for students’ horses (from their diary).
